3. Introduction of Track Chairs
Prof. Jiaqi Yan, Nanjing University, China
Yan Jiaqi is a professor at the School of Information Management, Nanjing University, where he also serves as the Head of the Department of Information Management Science and the Director of the Blockchain Lab.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science, a dual Bachelor's degree in Economic Law, and a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from the University of Science and
Technology of China, as well as a PhD in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. He previously served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of
Information Systems at City University of Hong Kong, a senior research fellow in the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, and a visiting scholar
at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto in Canada. His research interests encompass blockchain information systems, digital currencies, fintech, and data analysis.
He has presided over multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and Ministry of Education fund projects related to blockchain and digital currencies, and has
published over 80 papers in international journals and conferences such as I&M, DSS, IPM, ACM Trans, and IEEE Trans, WWW, ICIS. His course "Blockchain and Innovative Thinking"
has been selected as a national first-class undergraduate course, and "Thinking in Data" has been selected as one of the first batch of first-class undergraduate courses in
Jiangsu Province.
Prof. Yongjun Ren, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China
Yongjun Ren received the Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2008.
He is currently a professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. His research interests
include blockchain and metaverse. He is a member of IEEE and ACM and has published more than 50 high-level papers.
He presided over two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and won the first prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology
Award 2019 as a leading researcher. He has participated in a number of national scientific research projects, including National key Research and
Development Plan of China, and National Natural Science Foundation Joint Fund key project of China. He is a member of the Procedures Committee and Chair
of Workshop for international conferences.
