 3. Introduction of Track Chairs

Assoc. Prof. Mingjie Sun, Soochow University, China

Mingjie Sun, associate professor of Soochow University, received his bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xidian University and University of Liverpool respectively. In 2023, he joined the School of Computer Science and Technology of Soochow University. At present, he is a member of the Party branch of the school, a member of the traffic video committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, and a member of the smart Medical committee of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence. His research fields include computer vision, multimodal computing, and AIGC technology. Host the National Natural Youth Fund, Jiangsu Province Key Industrial Technology Innovation Project, Jiangsu Province Natural Science Youth Fund, Suzhou Soft Project, Suzhou Key Laboratory Open Project, and participated in key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology as a major participant. He has published nearly 20 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences (such as TPAMI, CVPR, ECCV, AAAI, ACM MM), three patents authorized by the first inventor, and won the third prize of Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Computer Society, the first prize of Suzhou Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award, and the third prize of Suzhou Natural Science Excellent Academic paper.



Assoc. Prof. Shipeng Xie, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Xie Shipeng, Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His main research fields include intelligent medical imaging and processing, and artificial intelligence.



Asst. Prof. Siyue Yu, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China

Dr. Siyue Yu graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering) with a bachelor's degree. In December 2022, she received a PhD degree from the University of Liverpool (School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering). Joined Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in January 2023 as assistant professor. She got NSFC Youth at the first year. During her doctoral period, she has been engaged in research in the direction of computer vision, including weakly supervised semantic segmentation, salient object detection and anomaly detection. Published papers over 7 in CVPR, AAAI, TPAMI and other internationally renowned authoritative conferences or journals She also serves as a reviewer for several journals and conferences including TPAMI, TIP, and CVPR and as PC member for ECAI2024.
